Purpose Works addresses the needs of our clients and reputable local companies. It connects Harvest House clients in need of meaningful employment with local employers who are interested in creating a more inclusive hiring process.
Purpose Works identifies clients who have barriers to employment such as a criminal record and a history of substance abuse but are making significant progress in their recovery. Purpose Works partners with employers that need a skilled labor workforce and have a desire to enrich the lives of individuals who have paid their debt to society and are working towards living a sustainable, drug and alcohol-free life.
Not only do our clients benefit, but employers looking to expand their hiring practices will realize great gains by becoming second-chance employers.
Our goal is to prove to local businesses that becoming a second-chance employer is a smart, sustainable business model. This is in line with many corporate social responsibility strategies to maximize impact and profit simultaneously.

Please note, submitting an application for an NSP Affordable Rental does not guarantee housing. Units do not become available very often, so Harvest House will hold your application for 6 months in case a unit becomes available.
