Sarah’s Journey Home

When Sarah and her young son, Bradin, lost their home, she did everything she could to keep life steady, working full time at Publix, saving every dollar, and sleeping in their car when options ran out.

“You can do everything right, work full time, be the best parent you can, and still end up with nothing,” she said.

When Hope Arrived at Harvest House

That changed when her manager connected her to Harvest House. Through our Home Again program, Sarah and Bradin found more than shelter, they found hope.
With the support of her case manager, life-skills classes, and free therapy, Sarah began to rebuild her finances, her confidence, and her sense of belonging.

A New Home and a Brighter Future

Today, Sarah is a homeowner. Bradin has his own room, a puppy, and a yard where they plan to hang Christmas lights.
Her story is a reminder that with your support, families move from fear to stability, from surviving to thriving. Together, we are building a community that stays with people all the way home.

Barb’s Family Restored

After a childhood marked by loss, abuse, and addiction—and ten years spent behind bars—Barb thought she had lost everything: her children, her confidence, and her sense of worth. She found strength through recovery!

When she entered Harvest House’s Freedom Recovery Program, everything began to change. Surrounded by people who saw her not as her past, but as a mother fighting for her future, she found the courage to rebuild her life.

Through the Home Again program, Barb reunited with her kids, restored her credit, and rediscovered the confidence to dream again.

Proof That Change Is Possible

Today, Barb takes pride in showing others that change is possible, proof that with hope, dignity, and support, lives can be transformed.

Through life-skills classes, counseling, and the Education Track, he earned his HVAC certification, secured steady work, and created a safe home where his son can laugh and rest without fear.
