After months of sleeping on couches and working double shifts, a single father finally found the stability he and his son needed through Harvest House’s Home Again program. With counseling, career training, and support, he rebuilt his life
and gave his son a safe place to laugh, rest, and dream again.
When David arrived at Harvest House, he was at his rock bottom. Facing prison time due to his long history with substance abuse, this was his last chance to make his life right. He did that by telling himself that no matter what, he was not going to use any mind-altering substances again.
Since 1992, Harvest House has worked to heal our community of the addiction crisis and end the cycles of generational trauma.
Gabe and Hollis met in New Mexico 12 years ago. Hollis, originally from Tampa, FL, was teaching high school and working on her master’s degree in Geology at the University of New Mexico.
