Harvest House Launches New Website – harvesthousecenters.org
The local human services provider just finished a complete overhaul of their website – harvesthousecenters.org.
Thanks to funding provided by the Edward K. Roberts Emerging Needs Fund at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Harvest House partnered with Keith Marcel Consulting to redesign the high-traffic site that was experiencing low-functionality. Keith specializes in creative storytelling and brand development for businesses and non-profits.
The new, reorganized, mobile-friendly site makes it easier for clients, donors, partners, and volunteers to navigate Harvest House’s spectrum of services. “We’re a local organization, and we need our community to know about who we are, what we do, and why we do it. This redesign will help us accomplish that. It will also improve the experience for those that need our services, as well as our friends and supporters looking for ways to help. Next, we’re working on getting all of our program applications converted to a web-version.” said Executive Director Erin Minor.
The site also features a new ‘Get Involved’ page, which offers a list of ways people can actively participate in the Harvest House mission.
Harvest House has been doing essential work in Sarasota since 1992 and today, is one of the largest human service providers in the area. There are programs for families and young adults experiencing homelessness as well as veterans and single adults needing residential addiction recovery services.
“This investment in our brand is so important to us as we work to increase awareness of the Harvest House mission in our local community. Now that we have this beautifully designed platform, we’re excited to add new content in the coming months – including a podcast,” said Shaelina Holmes, Director of Development and Marketing.

About Harvest House
Harvest House, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the premise that all people deserve safe, stable housing and the opportunity to renew their hope and dream again. As a pioneer in the transitional and permanent housing movement, they are the only organization in Sarasota to participate in the development, preservation, and management of affordable, service-enriched housing. This model is becoming the standard for serving families and individuals who are working to rebuild their lives. They believe that affordable housing and supportive programs improve the economic status of residents, revitalize neighborhoods, and stabilize lives.
